What are your opinions on racism and gangs?

I’m pretty fed up with this crap. Some people in my family frequently use racism as an excuse and play the race card.

As for gangs, I came across this gang video on YT and is was disturbing. Youths making racial remarks, death threats, all that.

What are your opinions on racism and gangs?

I think they are both stupid.
I think racism is pointless and I wish thugs would just kill each other and or go on some island and stop harming innocent people. That’s my honest opinion.

I don’t think the two are directly related though…
I don’t hear this as an excuse much. I hear bad parenting, bad company, need of attention but not racism….

And gangs doesn’t always equal inner city kids…..just saying………..

what do the news reporters say when they show videos or pictures that are graphic?

I’ve seen news reports where they would show like an injured animal and they say something before it. Something about it being graphic and disturbing. What is the full line?

What I hear is,”We want to warn you the next scene is graphic and may be disturbing. If you have young children you may want to remove them from the room.”

How do I find obituaries from 1996-1997 in huntington, west virginia?

I need a free obituarie website from 1996-1997, and it has to be from west virginia. Please answer my boyfriend never saw his dad's obituarie.

You can contact the local newspapers to see if they have it. If they do there will most likely be a small fee for a copy.

You can also contact the library. The have archives of newspapers where you can search for articles. Often it is on
microfiche and many libraries are putting them on computers.

How do I report a judge for beeing unfair in Virginia?

I have been into court for custody / child support in the state of Virginia for the passed two years now. Nothing is getting done here to help me. My ex husband knows this judge and his son very well. I have told the passed three attorneys that I have had about this and nothing.
So I want to make this known! But how do I do so?

The judge is supposed to recuse himself (disqualify himself) from a case if he is friends with one of the parties.
Produce definite evidence of the relationship between the judge and your ex, then your attorney will have to bring this to the judge's attention and ask him to withdraw. They can't do it just on your say-so. It needs be more than membership of the same big social or sporting club, it needs to be evidence they meet socially on purpose in a friendly way (eg dinner at each other's places, fishing together etc)

What are the pros and cons of living in Washington DC?

My boyfriend has been hinting that he really wants to go back to Washington DC. He misses his friends, misses working in the city and having a place that isn’t with family. So I want to know what I’m talking about if I ask him if he wants to just leave Ohio and move there with me. I want to know for my benefit what is awesome and suckish about the area.

Pro’s
Lots of ethnic diversity
Lots of people under 40
It’s an exciting, fast paced place to live
Lots to do culturally, and for comparatively little money
Excellent public transit system
The job market is always good in DC
For the size of the city, the crime is relatively low (other than a few pocket areas that you wouldn’t be going to anyway)

Con’s
The summers are brutal w lots of humidity (although the winters are milder than Ohio)
Housing is very expensive
There are a fair number of people who are there to establish themselves in their career and are a bit shallow/superficial
The fast pace can sometimes be brutal

I’d recommend that you give it a try. You will be going with your boyfriend, so it won’t be like moving to a new city by yourself. And once you get there do activities on your own (maybe volunteering) so you get to meet friends yourself.
