at the high school i go to most of the girls are absorbed in brand names and dress VERY preppy (hollister, abercrombie, true religions, vans, and uggs!)
what are some ways to make my style unique and spcial.
I like floral prints, hippie style..
maybe some alternative?

do your own tie-dye! wear ripped jeans, converse with dresses or skirts, funky belts and cool jewelry. i suggest thrift shops– they're definitely the most fun. also h&m, charlotte rousse (sp?), and forever 21 are fabulous for finding unique clothes that still look amazing, and aren't super expensive at all.

i was one of my most popular girls in the high schools around my area because i was EVERY clique. i LOVE hollister, but i love dying my hair different colours like pink & green & blue. i like hot topic. i also have lip piercings & nose piercings, but i'll still wear victorias secret PINK sweatpants. i have a abercrombie backpack, but i put world of warcraft pins on it. i wear pokemon & yugioh t-shirts, but i wear hollister destroyed jeans.
i talk gossip with the preppy girls & i play dungeons & dragons with the nerds. i fit in with every clique, i'm friends with everybody from every clique. i've been invited to every party, plus i won prom queen!

Well, if you really want to be unique compared to the peeps don't ask for other peoples opinions, dress as yourself. (I personally have a strong hate for peeps for reasons I don't know)
But, if you're not sure how you really would like to dress, I'll tell you what I usually wear. I'm mostly outfitted with a completely unzipped zip-up jacket (skater brand) with somewhat skinny but very long slightly torn black or load pants. I'm usually gonna be wearing whatever shirt I see first. That's sometimes plain black, sometimes skater.
