How come my eyes are green at night and brown during the day?

Its really weird! It started last month when i went swimming in a pool and opened my eyes underwater….but I always opened my eyes underwater so that can't be the reason!! But that night they turned olive green, and I looked like a cat!
What kind of light were you using when you determined this?
My guess is your eyes contain some natural dark green, if you were using a green tinted light or were in a green room, the green in your eyes will reflect much more prominantly than the brown. So the light used will be a strong factor.

lol its just the lighting, my sisters eye's change color sometimes too, don't worry about it
