Based on fair use, the use of something for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting is not an infringement of copyright.

I would have ads on my blog, but only on the side, the blog itself will be free for all to read.

Am I allowed to use photos/images from other blog sites or news websites? I realise most blogs that do reviews and/or news reporting seem to be using any image found anywhere…

What are the rules on this?

If it is online you can use it just don't claim it as your own
