   You must be from England. “Gridiron” is the most popular sport in the states and is nowhere near a “failure as a sport”. If you don’t like it that’s fine. Don’t just make stuff up. You sound like a dolt.

   But you gotta ask yourself why gridiron is such a failure as a sport.

   Its easy to get into a gridiron team cause there is like 50 ing places, any fat slob can sign up and she is in. In soccer there are 11 places and a few subs so you have more chance getting in a AF team then a soccer team.

   respect doesnt make it more difficult to play or more dangerous, and in this case its to the contrary, soccer is easy for everyone to play atleast to a reasonable level. But even mediocrity in football is very hard to reach

    I really couldn’t give a flying about soccer, for real, I don’t particually like it either… BUT, look at it this way; soccer is a globally respected sport where as american football is a global laughing stock… nuf-said.

    have you ever played american football. I have played soccer i know the rules and and was pretty good at both sports i have pinched nervers in american football from hits where i was wearing pads. Do pads help protect yes, is there still more injuries in football then soccer heck yea. dont knock the sport till you try it.

    The thing I hate …
    The thing I hate most about Gridiron is that you guys think your really hard, and ‘the ‘, which is such a contradiction when you wear those big pads to protect your “tough bodies”. Apart from the fact that you look like something out off a Japanese game show, if you were as ‘hard’ as you make out then you wouldn’t need pads. If AF was played without pads or at least acknowledge the FACT that real men don’t NEED pads then maybe the rest of the world would respect the game.
