   You’re right! Not only that, the majority of people who voted for Obama were white peope. Remember, Blacks only comprise 13% of the population. If every Democrat Black voter had voted for Obama, it still wouldn’t compare to the number of white voters who did the same. Think about it! In light of this comment ask yourselves again: Did Obama win because of race?

   I agree with others that state that it wasn’t Obama’s race that got him elected! First of all, Obama himself is bi-racial. His mother is white. There are plenty of powerful leaders in this country that could have won the election no matter what race they are. Here is the problem, NONE of them ran for president! I am pretty sure if they did, then there would have been quite a few of them that would have won.

    Besides, if race was the only thing that got Barack Obama elected, then why didn’t it get Alan Keyes, a black conservative Republican, elected a LONG TIME AGO? If minority status is the only thing that people vote on, why didn’t Bill Richardson win? We should have had a huge variety of different presidents long before now if that was all that mattered to voters.
